Matt Allsopp




Matthew joined Sunderland Marine from Nelson College and has been with the company since 1994. he is a keen sailor, cricketer, fisherman and generally enjoys the outdoors. Married with one daughter, he also has strong family ties with the fishing industry.

Matt works closely with our head office claims team and our surveyors, attending most losses as appropriate. The photograph of Matt above, was taken during the wreck removal of the FV Michelangelo, which was washed ashore on Stephens Island nature conservancy in February this year. Matt is also active in the appraisal of new risks and areas of development.
