Diane Green
 Diane is the 'voice' of Sunderland Marine in New Zealand and most callers first contact. She has been with the company since 1991 and has a "faster data recall capability", in respect of our insured vessels and owners, than most computer systems. She deals with new enquiries, owner accounts and working closely with our United Kingdom accounting group, also manages credit control. email: mutual@smmi.co.nz |
Meet the team
Our New Zealand (Nelson) branch is typical of the Company worldwide, with staff having a strong association to the industries we insure. In many cases being recruited from those industries. Longevity of service with the company is a feature , with all our staff having more than fifteen years continuous employment at Sunderland Marine, often in more than one office and country.
The New Zealand branch also has strong links and daily contact with other branch offices and our head office. This is particularly so with our Australian offices in Melbourne, Perth and Cairns, as well as with our Seattle office in the US. Many of our activities in the Pacific are shared for example. As a result we are able to draw on an extensive network of surveyors and in house experience. Regular management meetings and video conferencing ensures that staff are aware of current risk management trends and activities around the world in both the general marine and aquaculture industries.
